A Letter to the President

Hon. Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr

President of the Republic of the Philippines

Malacañang Palace, Manila

Dear Mr. President,

Good day. I am Maria Erika Palce, a student from Ilocos Sur National High School, and I am writing this to share my thoughts and hopes for our country, as a member of the youth.

The president's responsibility or job is to serve the people, to fulfill his promises to the countryman, and make visible changes in the country. As a young filipino, I believe that our future depends on what and how we decide today. I just hope that our government will keep on finding ways to improve education. I personally think that every Filipino student should be provided with good teachers, safe classrooms to stay at, and enough learning materials provided both for those living in the city or in the province. I also hope that there will be more programs that focuses on protecting the youth’s health as well as the environment.

I know, and I understand that being a president is not easy. But I believe that if you listen to the people under your leadership, especially the youth, we can surely work together for the good of our own country. We need unity, fairness, and honesty so that everyone can take part/feel included in our nation’s growth.

Thank you for your time in reading this message. May you be guided by wisdom, compassion, and courage in making decisions for the good of all Filipinos.

                                                                                                                                                    Respectfully Yours,

                                                                                                                                    Maria Erika Palce
