14th of February
Valentine’s Day is often seen as a day for couples, but for me, it is about showing love in all its forms—towards friends, family, classmates, and even yourself. This year, February 14, 2026, was extra special because it was also our Third Quarter Recognition. Seeing classmates being recognized for their hard work reminded me that love and care can be shown through support, encouragement, and celebrating each other’s achievements. It also reminded me that celebrating others’ successes, even in small ways, is a way of sharing care and respect. The day became memorable through simple acts of support and celebration. Cheering for classmates during the recognition, joining in the applause, and sharing smiles with friends brought a strong sense of connection and warmth. After the recognition, we shared food together with our parents and our adviser, enjoying each other’s company and laughter. I could see how encouragement, attention, and just being present for others made the celebration meaningful. Watching others be recognized for their hard work reminded me that love can be shown through appreciation, respect, and moments shared together.
Reflecting on the day, I realize how Valentine’s Day connects everything back to the idea of showing love in many ways. From cheering for classmates to sharing a meal with family and our adviser, the celebration was filled with moments that reminded me that love is about presence, attention, and appreciation. Just as the Third Quarter Recognition highlighted effort and achievement, Valentine’s Day highlighted kindness, connection, and gratitude. The two events together showed me that love grows when we recognize and support the people around us, making everyday interactions more meaningful.
